To Apply:

- See LRHS April/May Scholarship Bulletin for details.

• LRHS seniors apply for the Murphy Scholarship and are selected by the Leesville Scholarship committee.

• The committee is comprised of faculty and counselors.  ​
• Interviews are typically conducted in the final round and a member of the Murphy family is usually in attendance. 

• The Murphy Scholars are presented at the senior assembly each year.

Requirements: 

• Student is a senior at Leesville Road High School who will be attending college in the calendar year.
  
• Student embodies commitment to visionary leadership
• Student embodies a commitment to service
• Student embodies a commitment to lifelong learning
• Significant school involvement 
• Student has had a significant impact on the school 
• Financial need may be considered.
• Student must have a weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher
